Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small values a website or service asks a browser to store. LocalStorage and sessionStorage are related browser features used for settings and local application state. Similar technologies may also include identifiers, pixels, or device storage used by analytics and advertising services.

Essential and functional storage

ToolzyLab uses browser storage to remember the light or dark theme, cache the shared header and footer, remember your consent choice, and support settings or local history in individual tools. This storage supports the experience you request and is not used to personalize advertising.

The consent record is stored under toolzylab-consent-v1 for up to 180 days. Choosing Ignore for now stores only a session-level dismissal and leaves optional analytics and advertising disabled.

Analytics storage

Google Analytics is not loaded unless a valid measurement ID has been configured and you allow Analytics. If enabled, analytics storage may help distinguish visits, measure page usage, and produce aggregated reliability and navigation reports. Analytics does not receive the content of files processed by local-only tools through ToolzyLab's integration.

Advertising storage

Google AdSense is not loaded through ToolzyLab's global integration unless an approved publisher client ID is configured, advertising is enabled by the site operator, and you allow Advertising. Google and its partners may then use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, measurement, and personalization.

Google may present an additional certified consent message in regions where its publisher policies require one. ToolzyLab's own preference panel does not replace a Google-certified consent management platform where that requirement applies.

Your controls

The first-visit banner offers Ignore for now, Customize, and Accept cookies. Ignore closes the banner for the current session without enabling optional services. Customize lets you make separate Analytics and Advertising choices. Accept enables both optional categories, except where a Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising off.

You can reopen the panel from Privacy choices in the footer. You may also clear ToolzyLab site data through browser settings. Clearing storage resets preferences and causes the consent banner to appear again.

Provider information

When configured and permitted, Google Analytics and Google AdSense are provided by Google. Review Google's cookie information, how Google uses information from partner sites, and Google Ads Settings.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy when storage practices or service providers change. A material change may invalidate the saved consent version and ask you to choose again. Questions can be sent to toolzylab@gmail.com.
